The Battle of Jakku serves as a tie-in of sorts to Star Wars: The Force Awakens by depicting one of the final battles between the Empire and Rebels on the planet of Jakku following the destruction of the Death Star and the Emperor's death in Return of the Jedi.
DICE dropped new details for The Battle of Jakku add-on, and revealed the all new "Turning Point" 40-player game mode in addition to the new maps for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
The first, and so far only, free DLC for Star Wars: Battlefront just had a little more added to it that will possibly assuage complaints over lack of content.
